| Our Stud is nestled in a beautiful valley 2 ½ hours west of Sydney NSW, near the quaint historical village of Rylstone.
Andrew & I have been breeding Miniatures Horses since 1983. After extensively searching Australia, we eventually found a stunning herd of little horses that had been bred down from Welsh Mountain Ponies for many years prior and we decided this would be the foundation of our miniature horses.
We then went about selecting stallions that would compliment these mares with their beautiful welsh traits & continued to breed for quality, small, refined animals with extreme movement and lovely natures, with our ultimate goal being to have a sound, horse type herd of miniatures that could produce horses that would excel in the show ring in halter & performance classes.
After years of breeding we now have great, great, grand progeny from our original mares, which are proving themselves in the show ring. Our main priority is & has always been upgrading our herd & constantly keeping our focus on soundness & quality - not breeding just for sale purposes, but we do have to sell off excess numbers to keep our herd numbers small. Because of this we are confident to stand by our Australian bred Alqueria stock. So to ensure that our horses have the best start in life & also to make sure people who purchase our horses are satisfied & confident in what they are purchasing - we do not sell any horses under the age of 2 years old.
Please Understand: We have taken many years of dedicated perseverance, in breeding healthy, sound quality horses & so we are selective in the homes our horses go to. We assess prospective homes before horses are sold, so please be aware we reserve the right to refuse a purchase.
